  Now that we have GeoTech Center Website 2.0 up and functional, it's time to start negotiations on version 3.0! Hard to imagine we would even consider such a move, but the fact is we need the very best functionality possible to remain competitive.

  What we want to be different this time is to solicit feedback from as wide as range of users as possible.

  Your new logo uses a tie with a knot as the letter i. Its a cool graphic all by itself, but the message it conveys may not be what you intended.

  Plainly stated, this is whats wrong with it:

  1. Guys wear ties

  2. Girls never wear ties

  3. Therefore, the intern I am thinking of is a guy.

  Half of the GISers need not apply for internships.

  A whack of the noodle to you for missing this obvious bit of cluelessness.

  It's time to design InternLogo 2.0. In the meantime, how about using letters to represent letters?
